Manuel Antonio
The trip from Heredia takes about three a half hours, we will leave the city around 7:00 am and stop for breakfast on the way to Manuel Antonio. When you first glimpse the sea from the hills above Manuel Antonio, the word "paradise" night cross your mind. The lovely beaches here were made into a National Park, one of the smallest in the country, is the area's croning glory. Manuel Antonio includes one of the best beaches on Costa Rica's Pacific coast for swimming and snorkeling, as well sd trails where you can hike for at least a full day. The park is one of the few remaining habitats of the "mono titi" (squirrel monkey). Howler and white faced monkeys, two-toed sloths, coatimundis and raccoons frequent the beaches.
